Experimentation and study are a core part of the artist’s practice. The artist’s main interest is in the choices humans make. This includes touching on delicate issues such as shame and guilt, investigating causes and effects, evidence, perception and changing opinion over time, regretting and justification. For generating and developing ideas she uses a wide range of resources from scientific reports about studies on human memory, ending with personal interviews and diaries.
Recent group shows include Fulton Street Collective Group Show within Hubbard Street Open House, Chicago; SAIC BFA show in Sullivan Gallery, Chicago; “Art Experiment” in Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, Moscow, Russia; and the Final Exhibition of students of the Foundation program of British Higher School of Art and Design.
Olga also participated in curating the exhibition “Century Safe” in Roman Susan Gallery, Chicago in May 2016.
